Description:
Ajate, the popular European hayashi meets Afrobeat band, and Sepataklaw, the major Afro-funk presence centered in Kansai, release an intense and rich split album. These two bands, who toured together as close allies during the “Takeno-wa” tour in Aichi in 2022, each contribute previously unreleased new tracks and remixes. The contrasting combination of Ajate’s ethnic sound and Sepatakraw’s solid groove creates a chemical reaction that successfully elevates this release into a landmark domestic Afro-groove album destined to be talked about for generations to come.
